As one of Britain's leading hose suppliers ( Yes, try saying that on the phone if you dare ) Hoseworld are still expanding at a fair rate of knots.
After taking on a huge new warehouse and office complex they decided it was time to consolidate their position and look at ways they could become even more efficient in their processes.
We entered discussions largely based around a new e-commerce website, however when we looked into their business more and what they needed it looked as though a total Quickbooks Integration could be a great place to start.
Of course we still had to re-design the entire website, which is largely used by the oil, food, gas, building and agricultural industries who demand prompt, efficient and easy to use services.
Once we had the designed nailed, it was time to develop a bespoke system that effectively allows Quickbooks to manage the website completely automatically.
For instance - If Hoseworld sold over the phone, as soon as they modify or enter the sale into Quickbooks, it syncs with the website, re-adjusting stock levels. The system runs the entire trade site as well- price bands, customer details, order history, invoicing, payments.....We could go on.
Yep, everything that is important to the business off the web and in Quickbooks, is now powering the website.
No more mix ups, no more editing two pieces of software, more time for staff to focus on selling rather than editing the website's stock or sale levels.
All synced, all automatic.
As such an integral part of the business, websites are no longer a bolt on to your business. And they shouldn't be viewed as such - We thank Hoseworld for allowing us to get stuck into such a great project!
