Barmoor Castle

Distinctly different to the more commercial country parks in the North East, Barmoor Castle were keen to establish their place in the market and have marketing materials to match.

The relationship we have with Barmoor started as no more than a website re-design. Following on from the success of this initial re-development we were asked to become more involved in the park's whole marketing strategy.

Looking at the whole package, and how the park was truly different on so many levels to other parks, we asked questions as to where the park wanted to go, who it wanted to attract and ultimately what were the aims of this now fully fledged campaign. Their main aim was to get potential buyers onto the park, and from that point they had a track record of converting interest into sales.

Liaising closely with the park we again re-developed the website to become more interactive and allow the Lambs to advertise sales directly ( the park has a very intimate feel between owners and the Lambs ), we actively encouraged owners on the park to write blogs, and upload their photos to the website, and we established a Youtube channel that includes a video based around the park's close ties to the Battle of Flodden.

Running a SEO campaign in the background along with Social media outlets such as Twitter, the website catapulted into the highest echelons of where they wanted and needed to be on Google, and traffic to the site increased 115%.

While the web presence was key, we also tied in a focused advertising campaign, first regionally, then onto targeted placements in nationals such as Saga. We wanted the adverts to have longevity so rather than advertise in disposables such as daily newspapers, we chose glossy's where the life expectancy and exposure was higher - reflecting Barmoors very ethos of longterm ownership for clients.

The campaign is on-going as Barmoor strive to further establish their own unique brand built around their key values - excellence, character and sustainability.

This is a prime example of how we aim to build long term, successful relationships with other long term, sustainable businesses in the region.
